Tangub City's Light Show

Best known as the Capital Christmas Symbols of the Philippines, Tangub City is now also known for its unique evening celebration the Light Show. Commemorating the late Governor Alfonso D. Tan for his substantial contribution to the city, Tangub City spice up a bit the 48th City Charter Anniversary celebration beginning with a torch parade and finishing it with a musical fireworks display.

The celebration started with a thousands of lights flooding the main streets of Tangub towards the sports complex where everything on that night would be magical. Followed by a Saludo March from different departments and schools which everyone portrays their own different unique styles of saludo. The evening was also held memorable by the very presence of Senator Teofisto de Lara Guingona III in whom in his speech encourage the people of Tangub to continue its innovation towards excellence. The event was participated by 11 entrants coming from different sectors of the government and schools. Every competitors showed mastery of wielding their lights to create enormous beautiful light effects that leaves the audience with awe. In the end, St. Michael's High School triumphs with their breath taking formations of a star among other else and the "2550" - 25th Christmas Symbols Celebration and the upcoming 50th City Charter Anniversary.

It doesn't end there, the event was then followed by a mini musical variety show with different genres and an outstanding entertainment. Above else, the guest from Cebu City captured the audience with their colorful lighted outfits. The event was then ended by a countdown and then fireworks go boom and its colors painted the starry night sky.
